My first encounter with Robi The Dog’s work was seeing this ‘I Hate Teddy’s’ piece moments after it was put up in the Hof from my A Berlin Hof Spot post. This Hof is a great place to start if you’d like an introduction to the Berlin Street Art scene and is in the heart of touristy Mitte.
I posted a photo of the piece on my Facebook page at the time but I’ve seen more of his paste-ups on my wanders in the couple of weeks since then.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time trying to find out more about Robi The Dog but the best I can do is that he is a Swiss Street Artist living in the countryside between Zurich and Bern, which I gleaned from this interview (which is in German).
This next piece was also in a familiar spot – pasted on the wall below one of the AliCé pieces from my AliCé in Wunderstadt post.
You can see more of Robi The Dog’s Street Art on his Flickr stream.
