At JONES Ice Cream, an impressive selection of ice cream flavours, including some booze inspired creations, is backed up by a range of heavenly cookies.
According to the ‘About the Chef’ section of the JONES website, owner Gabrielle Jones ‘fell into a pot of chocolate around the age of 8’ so it is perhaps fate that her passion should lie in creating fabulous desserts.
Having decided in 2002 to pursue her love of baking, in 2006 she was crowned Championne de France du Dessert (French Champion of Dessert) and went on to train at the Ritz in Paris among other prestigious hotels and restaurants.
In 2013 Gabrielle moved to Berlin to realise her dream of owning her own ice cream shop, though soon after arriving she decided to start with an ice cream stand, which was later replaced by a baby blue vintage Citroen van.
All of our egg-free ice creams are made from fresh milk & cream. Even the fruit flavors!
They come with large chunks of meringue, cookie dough, brownies and so on…

Given her background, it is perhaps inevitable that the JONES ice cream range stretches beyond the usual assortment: Matcha Green Tea, Virgin Mojito and Glühwein may tempt those wanting to branch out from traditional flavours.
In addition to the 23 ice cream flavours (12 are available from the truck at any given time) JONES sells incredible cookies: Choco Chip & Pecans, Maple Glazed Bacon & Peanut Butter and Oatmeal & Cinnamon to name a few.

As you would expect from someone with Gabrielle’s training and expertise, the ice creams are rich, creamy and luxuriant, the cookies, the perfect accompaniment: baked crispy on the outside yet still soft and chewy inside.
