Rylsee x Sophie LeMeillour

This giant robot on the side of Urban Spree was a collaboration between Swiss street artist Rylsee and French visual artist Sophie LeMeillour.  The mural was created for New Year’s Eve and LeMeillour animated the eye by projecting onto it.

El Bocho

El Bocho’s Little Lucy is one of the most recognisable Street Art paste-ups in Berlin, where the artist has lived and worked for a number of years.

I’ve decided to take a break from my Street Artist Profiles series this week to a post a selection of pieces by various artists seen over the last few months in Berlin.  If you’ve ‘Liked’ my Facebook Page or follow me on Twitter you may recognise a few shots.

Some of the artists here, like El Bocho, ALIAS and C215 have posts dedicated to their work already (you can click on the artist’s name to view a linked post), though this post has Street Art featured on the blog for the first time.

Robi The Dog in Berlin

I Hate Teddy's: Street Art by Robi The Dog in BerlinMy first encounter with Robi The Dog’s work was seeing this ‘I Hate Teddy’s’ piece moments after it was put up in the Hof from my A Berlin Hof Spot post.  This Hof is a great place to start if you’d like an introduction to the Berlin Street Art scene and is in the heart of touristy Mitte.

I posted a photo of the piece on my Facebook page at the time but I’ve seen more of his paste-ups on my wanders in the couple of weeks since then.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time trying to find out more about Robi The Dog but the best I can do is that he is a Swiss Street Artist living in the countryside between Zurich and Bern, which I gleaned from this interview (which is in German).

This next piece was also in a familiar spot – pasted on the wall below one of the AliCé pieces from my AliCé in Wunderstadt post.
